Cyanotype Experience Zone | PhotoBooks and Print Sale | Student’s activity corner| Photo Booth
On 19 December 2021, CPB Photo Kadai will make a comeback with a day full of activities for children and adults for our audience in Chennai to connect with various forms of photography! The Photo Kadai is a one-day popup celebrating the medium of photography in the form of photo print sales, a live cyanotype workshop corner, activity corners for students, artist booths and more.
Activities at the venue:
Cyanotype Workshop Counter
Join us for a one hour workshop and explore the magic of the Cyanotype process. Working with your hands, with simple chemistry, sunlight and tap water, cyanotype allows anyone interested to express themselves in shades of blue. In this workshop we will explore the chemistry of blueprints and the power of the sun with Mentor, Varun Gupta. He will walk you through the process of printing - from mixing of chemicals, coating of surfaces to exposing prints. You will learn to make your own prints - photographs and photograms using objects like feathers, leaves, and any other found object and explore how to create unique pieces of art with almost anything under the sun.
Registration is mandatory. More details here.

These activities are designed for all age groups and explore a diverse range of themes, from nature to popular culture to people, spaces and our neighborhood. Come join us on a relaxed Sunday as we put on our creative hats, roll up our sleeves and discover afresh world around us.
